Sei Foundation says it will commit $5 million to a Global Mobile Innovation Program aimed at supporting builders alongside the smartphone wallet rollout.
Sei Network said its wallet will be pre-installed on all new Xiaomi smartphones sold outside China and the United States. The update links a crypto wallet directly with consumer mobile hardware, potentially lowering access barriers for users by making onchain tools available at device setup. Sei Foundation also said it has committed $5 million to a Global Mobile Innovation Program for builders, indicating a parallel effort to encourage mobile-based applications and ecosystem development on the network.
