Boundary Labs, backed by Galaxy Ventures, says it raised $2 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Galaxy Ventures and is preparing to launch USBD, an over-collateralized institutional stablecoin, on Ethereum mainnet in early summer 2026. The project is designed around continuous on-chain verification of reserves, net asset value, and protocol performance rather than periodic attestations. Boundary Labs also plans to separate yield from the base stablecoin through sUSBD, a staking token intended for eligible institutional users.
