Fresh buying by an OTC-linked whale adds to signs of large-holder accumulation, even as another wallet recently sold 10,000 ETH after years of inactivity.
Ethereum whale activity broadened on June 6 as a separate OTC-linked wallet added another 29,000 ETH while large-holder positioning had already diverged a day earlier. BlockBeats, citing Onchain Lens, said whale wallet "0xFB7" bought 29,000 ETH from FalconX worth about $46.69 million and now holds 151,588 wsETH, equivalent to about 187,460 ETH valued at $296.19 million. That followed June 5 activity reported by PANews, also citing Onchain Lens, showing wallet "0x466," linked to "7 Siblings," borrowed $60 million and spent $58 million to buy 32,919 ETH at an average price of $1,762, with another $2 million order still open, while whale "0x293" sold 10,000 ETH at $1,772 for 17.72 million USDC after three years of inactivity. Together, the transactions point to continued large-scale accumulation by some Ethereum holders even as others trim exposure at similar price levels.
