
The company said the funding supports EDGE Pro and EDGE Connect, two products aimed at banking and payments infrastructure for compliant prediction markets, as it highlighted more than $2 billion in first-year EDGE Boost card volume.
EDGE Markets said it completed a $29.2 million Series A led by CoinFund, with participation from Indicator Ventures, Mantis VC, StepStone Group and Bullpen Capital. The company said the proceeds will support EDGE Pro, a high-throughput banking platform for prediction-market market makers, and EDGE Connect, a payments network for compliant betting and prediction markets. EDGE Markets also said its VISA debit card product, EDGE Boost, processed more than $2 billion in transactions in its first year. The company and report framed the launches as a way to reduce payment friction, which could help improve liquidity and participation in prediction markets.
