The Open Network will keep its blockchain name while the token’s ticker changes from TON to GRAM; OKX plans a 1:1 exchange migration and delistings around June 16-17, 2026.
The Open Network community approved, with 81.22% support in a TON Vote, a proposal to rename its native token from Toncoin to Gram and change its ticker from TON to GRAM, effective June 15, 2026 at 20:00 UTC+8, while keeping the blockchain name The Open Network unchanged. The project said the change is limited to the token’s name and ticker, so no token swap, bridge, claim, or asset migration is required and balances, addresses, smart contracts, NFTs, staked assets, and DeFi positions will remain unchanged. Separately, OKX said it will support the TON-to-GRAM change on a 1:1 basis, phase out TON borrowing, margin, futures, lending and spot products before a June 16-17 migration window, keep deposits and withdrawals open, and later announce any new GRAM listings.
