Cardano’s TVL fell in June, but DexHunter reported a brief surge in DEX activity while Santiment and Coinglass data pointed to movement in older ADA holdings and net exchange outflows.
Cardano’s market and on-chain data show a mixed picture as ADA trades near $0.16. In June, total value locked fell from $129 million to $92 million, while DexHunter said daily decentralized exchange volume rose from about 6 million ADA to 25 million ADA over four days before easing to roughly 7.45 million ADA, driven by tokens including NIGHT, STRIKE and SNEK and stablecoins such as USDCx. Separately, Coinglass reported $30 million in ADA inflows to exchanges and $32.62 million in outflows over 24 hours, for net exchange flows of -$2.54 million, or about 16 million ADA leaving exchanges. Santiment also said older ADA holdings began moving again after months of relative inactivity, with Mean Dollar Invested Age stalling after a steady rise and Age Consumed posting several spikes between June 4 and June 9, including the largest since April on June 9. The signals may indicate accumulation or repositioning near recent lows, but Santiment cautioned that dormant-wallet activity can also reflect distribution rather than a confirmed recovery.
