Alibaba Group said DingTalk CEO Chen Hang, known as Wuzhao, has stepped down and will be succeeded by Chen Yusen, the 1992-born head of Alibaba Cloud’s AI Agent project MuleRun. The leadership change came after the group’s partnership committee responded on June 10 to a former employee’s article criticizing DingTalk’s high-pressure management, saying those practices were “not what Alibaba culture should look like.” The move suggests Alibaba is tying leadership accountability to workplace culture concerns as it reshapes management inside one of its key enterprise software units.
