The NFT-backed lending platform will stop new loans immediately, allow refinancing until July 31, and take its frontend offline on August 31, 2026 while smart contracts remain live.
NFTfi plans a phased wind-down after saying reduced revenue from the shrinking NFT market is no longer enough to cover operating costs. The platform has halted new loans immediately, will keep refinancing available until July 31, and will let borrowers repay outstanding positions until August 31. Its frontend is scheduled to go offline on August 31, 2026, but the underlying smart contracts (self-executing blockchain code) will remain operational on-chain, allowing continued contract-level access after the web interface closes.
