Tether blacklisted a Tron wallet tied by ZachXBT to roughly $120.2 million in June 11 USDT transfers across KuCoin, instant exchanges, NEAR Intents and Monero buying, freezing about $72 million.
A Tron address holding 72,030,295 USDT was frozen after Tether blacklisted a wallet that ZachXBT linked to roughly $120.2 million in USDT flows on June 11. According to ZachXBT, the funds moved from a TRON address to KuCoin deposit addresses, instant exchange platforms, and through NEAR Intents into Bitcoin and Ethereum, while related Monero buy orders briefly pushed XMR from about $330 to $420. The freeze highlights the centralized control built into USDT, whose issuer can blacklist addresses and restrict transfers, though no official reason for the action was stated in the Whale Alert report.
