After roughly $5.09 million in 24-hour perpetual-contract losses, trading linked to Garrett Jin showed a profitable 50,000 ZEC exit, a loss on 580,000 UNI, and an $80 million Bitcoin long still open.
Whale trader Garrett Jin, identified in monitoring as the "1011 insider whale," remained heavily exposed to Bitcoin after mixed results across other perpetual contract positions. Earlier reporting cited about $5.0897 million in losses over 24 hours and roughly $102.4 million in all-long exposure across BTC, ZEC and UNI. A newer update said the trader closed a 50,000 ZEC long worth about $22.38 million for an estimated $420,000 profit and exited a 580,000 UNI long worth about $1.76 million for an estimated $310,000 loss, while continuing to hold a 1,270 BTC long opened in May at $76,117. That Bitcoin position was valued at about $80 million, with unrealized losses of roughly $16.65 million.
