A new X post sharpened the focus on photonics and continuous-wave laser bottlenecks, citing Goldman Sachs estimates for optical communications and CPO while naming AAOI, SIVE, SOI and TSEM.
Investors could end up regretting missing the AI supercycle, according to X posts cited by Odaily from “new stock god” Serenity. The latest post sharpened the focus on photonics and continuous-wave laser bottlenecks as key AI infrastructure investment themes. Citing Goldman Sachs, Serenity said the optical communications total addressable market could reach $154 billion by 2028 and that the CPO market could grow from near zero to $91 billion within about two and a half years. Serenity named AAOI, SIVE, SOI and Tower Semiconductor (TSEM) as focus areas, adding to an earlier emphasis on photonics, memory and neocloud providers represented by Nebius (NBIS). Serenity had also mocked investors still holding IREN, joking that the company has an “endless $6 billion ATM financing capacity.”
