Sequoia Capital led the 2026 ranking of the top 50 U.S. venture capital firms with 10,158 points, followed by Andreessen Horowitz, known as a16z, in second place and Accel in third. The list highlighted Silicon Valley’s continued dominance, with seven of the top 10 firms based in Silicon Valley or San Francisco. It also underscored how leading venture portfolios remain concentrated in high-profile technology names, with OpenAI, Figma, Snowflake and Coinbase appearing among the holdings of top-ranked investors.
