Binance Research said tokenized real-world assets topped $31.4 billion, led by Treasuries, money market funds, gold-backed assets and listed stocks, while calling 2026 the sector’s “maturation year” despite regulatory and market-structure constraints.
Binance Co-CEO Richard Teng said on-chain real-world assets have grown about 589% since early 2025, while Binance Research reported the market has exceeded $31.4 billion. The report said bonds and money market funds added about $6.5 billion, up 83%, with tokenized U.S. Treasuries, money market funds, gold-backed assets and tokenized listed stocks driving expansion. Binance Research described 2026 as the sector’s “maturation year,” but said broader adoption still faces hurdles including regulation, liquidity depth, legal enforceability, custody standards and secondary-market access.
