After closing earlier leveraged crypto shorts for a reported $3.277 million to $4.4 million profit, the address reopened roughly $70.2 million-$70.76 million in Bitcoin and Ethereum shorts on HyperLiquid.
A large trader on HyperLiquid reopened major short positions in Bitcoin and Ethereum after closing earlier leveraged shorts for a reported profit, with sources citing figures ranging from $3.277 million to about $4.4 million. According to Ai Yi and Lookonchain, the address re-entered with about 912.9 BTC and roughly 10,000-10,025 ETH in short positions, valued at around $70.2 million-$70.76 million in total. Ai Yi said the new BTC and ETH shorts were opened at $59,137 and $1,532 respectively and were showing a $1.418 million floating loss at one point. The reports indicate the trader rotated from an earlier basket that included Bitcoin, SPCX and, according to Lookonchain, Ethereum and Solana, into fresh bearish bets focused on Bitcoin and Ether.
