AlphaESS shifts Europe strategy toward software, connectivity and full-scenario storage at Intersolar Europe 2026

AlphaESS used Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich to outline a broader European strategy centered on software, connectivity and storage systems across residential, commercial, industrial and utility-scale use cases. The company said it is moving beyond manufacturing standalone storage products toward an ecosystem model built around digital integration, local execution and energy-market participation. At the event, AlphaESS introduced the STORION-LC-TB150 for commercial and industrial applications, the Aster 6260 for utility-scale deployment and AlphaConnect, a platform designed to connect batteries, partners and energy markets. The STORION-LC-TB150 is a liquid-cooled all-in-one system rated at 150 kW and 313 kWh, with operating noise of no more than 60 dB(A), UL 9540A device-level fire safety compliance and support for up to 12,000 charge cycles. For larger projects, AlphaESS highlighted Aster 6260 as a 3.13 MW and 6.26 MWh liquid-cooled platform featuring high-density deployment, integrated safety, remote commissioning and AI-supported operations and maintenance. AlphaESS also pointed to execution experience in Europe, including a 320 MWh project in the Czech Republic spanning Chvaletice and Kladno. Through AlphaConnect, the company said it offers open APIs for VPP operators, energy aggregators and third-party systems, with more than 100 energy partners and platforms connected across 12 countries and more than 100,000 systems. In the UK, the platform includes deep integration with Octopus Energy for intelligent charging and discharging scheduling and remote asset management. The company said partners can integrate within four weeks. The strategy was also backed by the opening of a Spanish subsidiary, expansion in the Benelux region and progress on Czech projects. AlphaESS, founded in 2012, said it has more than 40 subsidiaries, over 300,000 systems deployed in more than 130 countries and focuses on storage solutions and services across residential, commercial, industrial and utility-scale applications.
