A packed June 29-July 5 calendar puts the EU MiCA cutoff, Strategy’s STRC dividend events, U.S. payrolls and several exchange, protocol and corporate actions in focus.
Spain’s market regulator CNMV said crypto firms that fail to obtain authorization under the EU’s MiCA framework by June 30 will receive no grace period or special measures, making unlicensed operation illegal from July 1. Binance, which reportedly has not yet secured a MiCA license, said it would suspend some EU services in Europe from July 1 rather than impose a full withdrawal deadline, while saying client assets remain safe and accessible. The July 1 MiCA transition deadline is also one of several market events scheduled for June 29 to July 5, alongside Strategy’s STRC ex-dividend date and dividend reset on June 30, U.S. June nonfarm payrolls on July 2, and a series of delistings, shutdowns, regulatory actions and corporate announcements involving Binance, Robinhood, Securitize, Polygon zkEVM and others.
