Super Micro Computer shares fell more than 9% after Taiwanese authorities expanded an investigation into alleged smuggling of restricted Nvidia AI chips to China using Super Micro servers. Prosecutors in Keelung searched residences and company premises, including Super Micro’s local operations, and summoned six individuals on Monday. Authorities are examining alleged document falsification or forgery and breach of trust tied to exports and unauthorized diversion of advanced AI servers.
