FactSet said it has formed a strategic partnership with Google Cloud to develop AI-powered tools for financial firms, centering on workflow-specific agentic solutions backed by trusted, auditable data for regulated environments. The collaboration spans three areas: embedding Google's Search and Gemini capabilities into FactSet Workstation through the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, expanding FactSet's financial intelligence inside Gemini Enterprise, and jointly building new agents for portfolio operations, deal advisory, and corporate finance. FactSet also said it will add Google Cloud to its roster of cloud providers to strengthen reliability, scalability, and product development. Chief Executive Officer Sanoke Viswanathan said the partnership is aimed at helping clients use trusted financial data and advanced AI more intuitively, while Google Cloud chief product and business officer Karthik Narain said the combination should help investment professionals surface insights faster and automate complex workflows.
