Theo invested $20 million in Fidelity International’s tokenized dollar liquidity fund through Sygnum, becoming the first crypto-native platform in FILQ and accounting for nearly a third of its onchain assets.
Theo invested $20 million in Fidelity International’s tokenized dollar liquidity fund FILQ through Swiss digital asset bank Sygnum, marking the first investment in the fund by a crypto-native platform. FILQ is issued on Sygnum’s Desygnate platform and carries a Moody’s Aaa-mf rating. Data from RWA.xyz shows the fund has about $55.1 million in onchain assets under management, meaning Theo’s allocation represents nearly one-third of the total. The deal adds to growing institutional demand for tokenized Treasury and cash-management products, which use blockchain-based fund structures to provide exposure to traditional short-duration assets with more flexible digital-market infrastructure.
