The lawsuit covers investors who bought Insulet securities between February 21, 2025 and May 26, 2026, and points to two voluntary Medical Device Corrections tied to manufacturing issues.
Pomerantz LLP said a securities class action has been filed against Insulet Corporation and certain officers in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts on behalf of investors who purchased or acquired Insulet securities between February 21, 2025 and May 26, 2026. The case, docketed under 26-cv-13062, seeks damages under Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5, alleging the company made materially false or misleading statements about its business, operations and compliance policies. The complaint centers on claims that Insulet's manufacturing controls and procedures were defective, creating a foreseeable risk that products could violate safety regulations or pose injury risks. Pomerantz said investors have until August 31, 2026 to seek appointment as Lead Plaintiff. The filing points to Insulet's March 12, 2026 disclosure of a voluntary Medical Device Correction for specific lots of Omnipod 5 Pods and its May 26, 2026 disclosure of another voluntary Medical Device Correction affecting specific lots of Omnipod 5, Omnipod Dash, and Omnipod Insulin Management System (Omnipod Eros) Pods due to a manufacturing issue that could result in insulin under-delivery.
