BitcoinTreasuries.NET data show listed companies have net bought 166,984 BTC this year and now hold 1,264,867 BTC, more than 6% of total supply, outpacing new issuance and potentially tightening liquid supply.
Public companies have net bought 166,984 BTC so far this year, according to BitcoinTreasuries.NET, more than double the 81,153 BTC mined over the same period and averaging about 912 BTC per day. The data also show publicly traded companies now hold 1,264,867 BTC in total, representing more than 6% of Bitcoin’s total supply. The imbalance suggests corporate treasury demand is absorbing Bitcoin faster than miners are creating new coins, a dynamic that can tighten liquid supply and, if it persists, may influence market liquidity and price formation.
