SafePal added Robinhood Chain native stock-token trading as Robinhood’s new Layer 2 positions it in a broader crypto infrastructure push focused on tokenized real-world assets and financial services.
SafePal said on July 4 it formally integrated the Robinhood L2 mainnet and launched trading for Robinhood Chain native stock tokens, days after Robinhood launched its own blockchain on July 1. SafePal said the Layer 2 network is focused on real-world asset tokenization and financial services, and that its wallet already connects tokenized-asset providers including xStocks and Ondo, offering access to exposures tied to NVIDIA, Tesla, SpaceX, S&P 500 ETF products, gold and tokenized $COIN on Robinhood Chain. The combined developments place Robinhood alongside Coinbase, Stripe, Circle and Tether in a broader push by large consumer-facing companies to build proprietary crypto infrastructure while expanding on-chain access to tokenized traditional financial assets.
