Bitget said it will change the funding schedule for the GWEIUSDT perpetual futures contract on 2026-07-04 at 17:00 (UTC+0), shortening the funding rate interval from every 4 hours to every 1 hour. The exchange said the move is designed to better align perpetual futures prices with spot index prices. Funding rate maximum and minimum limits will remain unchanged at +2.0000% and -2.0000%. The announcement lists adjustment checkpoints at 2026-07-04 17:00, 18:00, 19:00 and 20:00 (UTC+0), each with maximum funding rates of +2.0000%/-2.0000%, and indicates the pattern will continue thereafter. Bitget added that if the adjustment is rescheduled because of factors such as high market volatility, it will issue a separate announcement, and urged users to review updated funding rates before placing orders and remain aware of trading risks.
