
The company said daily payment users now outnumber traders, with 150,000-plus wallet cards issued across more than 50 markets and card spending reaching $31 million in H1 2026.
Bitget Wallet said its global user base has surpassed 100 million, marking a milestone as the self-custodial wallet shifts further from its trading origins toward everyday payments. For the first time on the platform, the company said daily payment users now outnumber traders, with more than half of users based in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Africa and Latin America, where crypto wallets are increasingly being used as stablecoin accounts for saving, receiving pay and local spending rather than speculation. The company said more than 150,000 Bitget Wallet Cards have been issued across 50-plus markets and can be used at more than 150 million merchants. Global card spending totaled $31 million in the first half of 2026, up 191% from the second half of 2025, while spending in emerging markets rose 416% over the same period. Bitget Wallet said its Onchain Payments Matrix now spans more than 80 payment rails across more than 100 currencies and has settled over $177 billion in stablecoin volume.
