The deal sharpens Resmed’s focus on sleep, breathing and connected home-based healthcare, with closing expected in the first quarter of its fiscal year 2027.
Resmed said it has signed a definitive agreement to sell its MatrixCare business to Frazier Healthcare Partners as it refocuses its portfolio on sleep health, breathing health and connected home-based healthcare. MatrixCare provides software to more than 15,000 providers across skilled nursing, senior living, long-term care, life planning communities, and home health and hospice care. The transaction covers MatrixCare and related software offerings sold under that brand, including Healthcare First, Citus and home health and hospice solutions, while excluding Resmed’s other software businesses, Brightree in the U.S. and MEDIFOX DAN in Germany. Resmed said the sale supports its 2030 strategy by freeing up capital and resources for innovation, operational scale and long-term value creation. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of Resmed’s fiscal year 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions, and the company said MatrixCare will continue operating within Resmed until then without changes to customer service or support.
