TRON-based USDT climbed to a record $90.3 billion even as combined USDT and USDC issuance fell by about $13.9 billion in recent months, pointing to continued settlement demand on the network.
USDT circulating on the TRON blockchain has climbed to a record $90.3 billion after adding about $2 billion in the past month, extending the network’s role as a major settlement venue for stablecoin transfers. The milestone comes even as combined USDT and USDC issuance fell by about $13.9 billion in recent months, with USDT down about $7.4 billion and USDC down about $6.5 billion, according to EmberCN on July 11. Despite that pullback in supply, first-half stablecoin ATV reached $8.82 trillion versus last year’s record $10.8 trillion, indicating that trading and transfer activity has remained elevated. Earlier figures cited by TRON said the network leads all blockchains in year-to-date USDT transfer volume at about $4.2 trillion, while processing more than 12.7 million daily transactions, roughly $23.8 billion in average daily USDT transfers, more than 14 billion total transactions and over 392 million user accounts. Previous reports also said TRC20-USDT issuance had risen above 90.2 billion, holder accounts reached 74.9 million and cumulative transfers topped 3.5 billion, with record monthly transactions and active accounts in June 2026. TRON has also highlighted institutional integrations with Anchorage Digital and Securitize, the availability of the tokenized Hamilton Lane SCOPE Fund on the network, and anti-crime work through the T3 Financial Crime Unit with Tether and TRM Labs.
