Summary

MEXC said its June TradFi data showed stock and index futures trading volume rising about 261% month over month, while the number of tradable underlying assets topped 210, up about 48%. SPCX futures volume increased more than 145 times from May, which the exchange said made it the highest-volume single-stock futures contract of the month as attention around SpaceX's listing fed demand for event-driven trading. The exchange said AI infrastructure was another dominant theme. Excluding SpaceX and two index futures, the other seven names in the top 10 for stock and index futures were tied to GPUs, memory, storage, data center networking chips, CPUs and semiconductors. Futures volume for SK Hynix, Arm and Marvell rose about 1,948%, 597% and 350%, respectively, from May. Index exposure also accelerated, with SPX500 futures up nearly 1,000% month over month and NAS100 up about 103%. In tokenized U.S. stocks (blockchain-based versions of equities), MEXC said commercial space was the clearest theme, with SPCXON ranking first by trading volume and RDWON also entering the top 10. AI infrastructure names including MRVLON, MUON, INTCON and SMCION posted combined volume growth of about 17% from May, while MRVLON alone climbed 69%. Crypto-related stocks also featured prominently, with CRCLON, MSTRON and HOODON all placing in the top 10; MSTRON and HOODON volumes increased about 31% and 32%, respectively. MEXC said its product suite lets users move across Pre-IPO, stocks and index futures, tokenized stocks and RealStocks within one account using USDT, and added that it is expanding coverage beyond U.S. equities into markets including Japan and Korea. CEO Vugar Usi said fast-changing market narratives are pushing users to seek flexible exposure across event trading, on-chain holding and longer-term allocation.
