Unilumin wins EcoVadis Silver Medal, ranks in top 6% globally

Unilumin said it received the EcoVadis Silver Medal on July 8, a sustainability rating that placed it among the top 6% of companies assessed worldwide. The company said the recognition reflects its performance across Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, underscoring a long-term focus on responsible business practices. It also pointed to product-level efforts including low-carbon and energy-efficient design, saying its Usurface PL1 outdoor display with DVPS energy-saving technology can save up to 36,500 kWh of electricity a year per 100 square meters of display area, while about 70% of its premium lighting portfolio has obtained Environmental Product Declaration, or EPD, certification. On labor standards, Unilumin said it has secured SA8000 Social Accountability certification and launched an AI-powered HR Assistant in 2025 to handle employee requests within seconds, alongside more than 40 employee incentive programs and continued support through its Caring U Fund. The company added that it has repeatedly received the highest A rating for information disclosure from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and achieved 100% audit coverage of key suppliers in 2025.
