Shanghai launches first nonferrous metal blockchain digital warehouse receipt business

The “Cangdeng Chain,” initiated by the Commodity Warehouse Receipt Registration Center and built on the national blockchain network “Hangmaolian,” has gone live with end-to-end on-chain receipt management.

Shanghai has rolled out its first batch of blockchain-based digital warehouse receipt business for nonferrous metals, marking a new use case for trade and commodity infrastructure on-chain. The service runs on the “Cangdeng Chain,” a platform initiated by the Commodity Warehouse Receipt Registration Center and built on the national blockchain network “Hangmaolian.” The warehouse receipts were issued by the global futures delivery business headquarters of Zhongchu Co., and the process covers a full on-chain closed loop, including issuance, registration and cancellation.
