The Hong Kong-listed gaming company has kept buying since 2023 and previously sought approval in March 2026 for up to $70 million in additional cryptocurrency purchases.
Boyaa Interactive, the Hong Kong-listed online gaming company trading under ticker 0434.HK, has bought another 108 Bitcoin, taking its corporate treasury to 4,201 BTC. The company, founded in 2004 and listed in 2013, has historically focused on online card and board games in Southeast Asian markets, but it has increasingly redirected capital into Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset. Its buying accelerated through 2025, including a roughly 290 BTC purchase in August 2025 for approximately $33.9 million that lifted holdings to 3,670 BTC, followed by another roughly 411 BTC acquisition in September 2025. Boyaa previously held 302 ETH and USDT (a U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin) among its digital assets, but has since shifted much of that portfolio into a BTC-only treasury approach. In March 2026, its board sought approval for up to $70 million in additional cryptocurrency purchases when the company already held about 4,092 BTC. The strategy has drawn comparisons with MicroStrategy and suggests Boyaa is positioning its balance sheet around Bitcoin while also signaling interest in Web3 (blockchain-based internet services) and blockchain gaming.
