Bernstein said the Arbitrum-based network reached top-five DEX activity in its first week as stablecoins, lending and tokenized stock trading expanded, though early flows were still led by meme coins.
Robinhood Chain processed $3.1 billion in decentralized exchange volume in its first seven days after its July 1 public mainnet launch, ranking it among the five most active networks by DEX activity in Bernstein's July 13 note. The Arbitrum-based Ethereum layer-2 had more than 65,000 users move assets onto the network, about $300 million in stablecoin balances, more than $100 million in decentralized-finance total value locked within 15 days, and roughly $13 million in tokenized stocks across more than 90 equities. Bernstein said Robinhood Chain ranked third by 24-hour DEX volume on the day of the note at $809 million, behind only Solana and BNB Chain. The broker said meme coins drove the earliest trading burst before broader crypto-native liquidity arrived, but expects Robinhood to steer the network toward tokenized equities, commodities and perpetual futures. Robinhood Chain integrates with Uniswap, Morpho, Lighter, Chainlink and BitGo. Through Morpho, eligible U.S. users can lend USDG in the Robinhood app for up to 7% APY, while Lighter committed $11 million in LIT token incentives for perpetual futures trading. Tokenized stocks are available in more than 120 countries outside the United States and can now be used in lending pools and as trading collateral. The update also highlighted intensifying competition in tokenized securities. Ondo Finance introduced what it described as the first third-party tokenized securities compliant with existing U.S. regulations, using a registered transfer agent and passing shareholder rights to token holders. Bernstein said the broader tokenized real-world-asset market grew from $35 billion at the end of 2025 to more than $51 billion by July 2026, while tokenized equities rose about 170% to $1.9 billion. Bernstein maintains an Outperform rating on Robinhood with a $130 price target; the shares traded at $111.35 on July 13, down 0.6% on the day.
