North America shipments rose 38% on new model launches, while Enlarged Europe gained 5% with battery electric vehicle demand and Leapmotor growth.
Stellantis said estimated consolidated shipments for the three months ended June 30, 2026, rose 10% year over year to 1.6 million units. The automaker said the increase was driven mainly by North America and Enlarged Europe, while lower volumes in Middle East & Africa and South America partly offset those gains. North America delivered the strongest regional increase, with shipments up about 122 thousand units, or 38%, helped by new or refreshed products and powertrain offerings including the Ram 1500 HEMI V8, Ram 1500 TRX SRT, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Chrysler Pacifica, as well as the continued ramp-up of the all-new Jeep Cherokee and Dodge Charger 2-door and 4-door SIXPACK. Stellantis said the figure also reflected preparations for a planned summer production shutdown. In Enlarged Europe, shipments rose about 39 thousand units, or 5%, supported by higher industry volumes. Growth came from Stellantis- and Leapmotor-branded vehicles, with BEV (battery electric vehicle) shipments the main driver. Demand for Smart Car platform models including the Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross, Opel/Vauxhall Frontera and Fiat Grande Panda added about 41 thousand units, while the new Jeep Compass contributed about 8 thousand units. Those gains were partly offset by an about 28-thousand-unit decline in legacy B-SUV shipments. Leapmotor-branded shipments climbed by about 25 thousand units to 33 thousand units, driven by the T03 and B10. Middle East & Africa shipments fell about 4 thousand units, or 3%, as regional conflict weighed on performance, despite growth in Algeria and Morocco. South America shipments also declined about 7 thousand units, or 3%, as growth in Brazil was more than offset by a sharp drop in Argentina. Asia Pacific shipments were flat at 16 thousand units. The company said the Q2 2026 shipment figures are unaudited and may be adjusted. It also said that, effective January 1, 2026, the Maserati reportable segment was eliminated and its shipments are now reported on a “where sold” basis, with comparative information restated.
