TIME and Statista’s ranking evaluated U.S. companies on employee satisfaction, financial performance and ESG transparency, with 1,000 companies selected from businesses exceeding $100 million in revenue.
Coherent Corp. said it was named to TIME’s America’s Best Companies 2026 list, a ranking produced with Statista that assessed U.S. companies on employee satisfaction, financial performance and environmental, social and governance transparency. The methodology drew on about 217,000 verified employee surveys over the past three years and reviewed multi-year revenue, profitability and asset-growth measures, with 1,000 companies selected from businesses with more than $100 million in revenue. Coherent Chief Executive Officer Jim Anderson said the recognition reflects the work of the company’s global teams, while Chief People Officer Grace Lee said it reinforces Coherent’s focus on an inclusive, high-performance culture. Coherent describes itself as a global photonics company serving datacenter, communications and industrial markets, with operations in more than 20 countries since its founding in 1971.
