The exchange now supports USDC.e and USDT0 transfers on Tempo, extending a broader partnership aimed at serving payment companies, fintechs and stablecoin issuers on the Layer 1 network.
Kraken has added native support for USDC.e deposits and withdrawals on Tempo, becoming the first major U.S. centralized exchange to do so, while also supporting USDT0 on the network. The launch follows a partnership announced on June 4, 2026, with transfer support going live on July 10. Beyond token support, Kraken said it is providing Tempo’s ecosystem with institutional services including liquidity provision, custody, on- and off-ramp access, and trade execution for fintechs, neobanks, payment companies and stablecoin issuers. Tempo, developed in collaboration with Paradigm and Stripe, is positioned as a payments-focused Layer 1 with roughly 0.5 to 0.6 second settlement, no chain reorganizations, stablecoin-native gas fees and dedicated transaction lanes. Trading availability for USDC.e and USDT0 on Kraken’s app will depend on liquidity and may be subject to geographic restrictions.
