Lookonchain’s July 6-12 on-chain report showed DEX spot trading increased, perpetual futures (no-expiry leveraged contracts) slowed further, Strategy held steady, and Bitmine bought 27,801 ETH.
Stablecoin supply increased by about $121 million in the week of July 6-12, reversing from a prior decline, while decentralized exchange, or DEX (peer-to-peer crypto trading venue), spot volume edged higher and perpetual futures (no-expiry leveraged contracts) activity continued to slow, according to Lookonchain’s weekly on-chain report. Corporate treasury activity was mixed: seven companies sold a combined 909.3 BTC worth about $56.96 million, Strategy made no changes to its Bitcoin holdings, and Bitmine added 27,801 ETH worth about $49.12 million. The mix of rising stablecoin supply and firmer spot trading can point to improving liquidity conditions, even as slower perpetual futures volume suggests more subdued appetite in leveraged derivatives markets.
