The transfer was split across multiple rapid transactions to several BitGo custody addresses, drawing attention as the FTX estate continues managing assets under bankruptcy supervision.
A wallet linked to FTX and Alameda Research transferred about 201,000 SOL, valued at roughly $15.14 million, to BitGo Custody in a series of rapid transactions routed to several addresses, according to Onchain Lens. The movement appears consistent with a structured custodial transfer rather than a direct market sell order. Since FTX entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy in November 2022, the estate has been consolidating and securing digital assets, and a court in September 2023 approved the liquidation of certain crypto holdings, including Solana, under supervision. Because the estate remains a major holder of Solana, large token movements are closely watched for their potential effect on liquidity and price, though a transfer to custody does not by itself indicate an imminent sale.
