Hire Heroes USA named 25 recipients of the Ripple Effect: Certified Veteran Employer Grants Program, with each veteran- or military spouse-owned business receiving $10,000 for a total of $250,000 funded by Ripple in RLUSD. The program pairs one-time grants with employer training, access to Hire Heroes USA resources and its pool of military-connected candidates, and a commitment by recipients to plan to hire from the military community within 12 to 18 months. The awards were disclosed on July 13 after a spring selection process. The initiative sits within Ripple’s philanthropic work rather than its payments business and adds to the company’s earlier $25 million commitment, mostly in RLUSD, to education nonprofits.
