The alliance targets regulated lending, liquidity, collateral management and tokenized-asset infrastructure for professional market participants in Japan, while building on an earlier SBI Ripple Asia memorandum around XRP yield products and XRPL-based tokenization.
Doppler Finance and SBI Digital Finance said they have formed a strategic partnership to expand regulated institutional XRP finance in Japan, focusing on lending, liquidity, collateral management and tokenized assets rather than retail trading services. The companies announced the agreement on July 13 and said they plan to build digital-asset infrastructure for professional market participants, combining Doppler’s tokenized capital-markets systems with SBI Digital Finance’s institutional network and crypto lending experience. SBI Digital Finance operates HashHub Lending, a Japan-based crypto-asset lending service. The tie-up follows a Dec. 17, 2025 memorandum between Doppler and SBI Ripple Asia to explore compliant yield-generating products for institutional clients and real-world asset tokenization on the XRP Ledger, with SBI Digital Markets designated as institutional custodian providing segregated custody under the oversight of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The December memorandum was described as SBI Ripple Asia’s first partnership with a protocol native to the XRPL. The companies did not disclose financial terms, launch dates, named clients, custody arrangements for the new July partnership, collateral terms, lending rates or a specific product ready for release.
