The company said its 18 solar plants in Lazio and Emilia-Romagna are expected to generate nearly 1 TWh a year as it expands a 9.1 GW Italian pipeline and 600 MW of authorized BESS.
Enfinity Global said it has reached 535 MW of operating solar capacity in Italy within three years, with 18 photovoltaic plants in Lazio and Emilia-Romagna now online. The company expects the portfolio to generate nearly 1 TWh of renewable power annually, avoid 290,904 tonnes of CO2e emissions each year, and supply the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of about 350,000 Italian households. Enfinity said the milestone underlines its ability to deploy new generation capacity quickly as Italy’s power demand grows. Citing Elemens data, the company said it is now Italy’s second-largest operator by authorized solar capacity after surpassing 1 GW, and it is also building out energy storage with about 600 MW of authorized BESS (battery energy storage systems). Those assets are part of a broader 9.1 GW Italian portfolio backed by more than 1 billion euros of investment, while Enfinity Global Inc. said its worldwide renewable generation and storage pipeline totals 39.6 GW.
