Summary

Bitget will adjust funding rate limits for 10 USDT perpetual futures pairs to better align perpetual prices with spot index prices, adding to a separate July 16, 2026 derivatives update in which it revised leverage, position tiers and maintenance margin rates for eight other contracts. The funding-rate changes affect SYNUSDT, BICOUSDT, LUMIAUSDT, GOATUSDT, THEUSDT, GRIFFAINUSDT, COOKIEUSDT, ARCUSDT, SHELLUSDT and HAEDALUSDT. Most of the affected pairs will move at 20:00 UTC+8 on July 16 from funding rate caps of +1.5000%/-1.5000% to either +1.9500%/-1.9500% for SYNUSDT or +2.0000%/-2.0000% for the others, while HAEDALUSDT will be reduced from +2.5000%/-2.5000% to +2.0000%/-2.0000%. BICOUSDT will be adjusted at 00:00 UTC+8 on July 17, with its cap widened to +2.0000%/-2.0000%. Funding intervals remain four hours for all listed pairs except BICOUSDT, which stays on an eight-hour cycle. Bitget said it may reschedule the changes if market volatility is high and advised traders to review updated funding rates before placing orders. Separately, the exchange said leverage, position tiers and maintenance margin rates for TENCENTUSDT, XIAOMIUSDT, SMICUSDT, POPMARTUSDT, NETEASEUSDT, MEITUANUSDT, KUAISHOUUSDT and GIGADEVICEUSDT would be revised at 10:00 UTC on July 16, with existing positions moving to the new standards on July 19.
