The Nasdaq-listed company said the proposed land survey and geospatial deals in the U.S., Canada and Australia would support its Drone as a Service expansion, subject to due diligence and definitive agreements.
ZenaTech said it has signed new offers to acquire multiple land survey and geospatial services companies in the U.S., Canada and Australia, with the proposed deals expected to collectively contribute about C$40 million in revenue in the 12 months after closing. The company said the estimate is based on unaudited financial information from the target companies and management estimates, and has not been verified by auditors. The transactions are part of ZenaTech’s acquisition-led push to build its Drone as a Service (DaaS) business by buying established legacy and low-tech operators and converting manual operations into recurring drone-based services. DaaS (subscription drone services) is positioned as a model that gives customers access to surveying, inspection, monitoring and precision agriculture capabilities without owning and operating their own fleets. CEO Shaun Passley, Ph.D., described the signed offers as a transformational step, saying the potential acquisitions would expand customer relationships, geographic reach and geospatial expertise across three markets while creating a platform for integrating the company’s AI-powered drone autonomy tools. He also pointed to ZenaTech’s 640% year-over-year first-quarter revenue growth as support for its long-term expansion strategy. ZenaTech cited Fortune Business Insights as valuing the global drone services market at about US$32 billion in 2025 and projecting it to exceed US$261 billion by 2034, implying a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of more than 25%. Each proposed acquisition remains subject to customary closing conditions, including due diligence and signed definitive agreements, and the company said there is no assurance any transaction will be completed.
