Nasdaq gains 0.64% at U.S. open as IBM drops 22.7%

The Dow slipped 0.12%, the S&P 500 rose 0.25% and the VIX fell 2.16%, while several AI-related stocks declined sharply, led by IBM, Workday and ServiceNow.
