Strategy said July 15 is the ex-dividend date for the next STRC payout, with eligible shareholders set to receive about $0.50 per share on July 31 under the new semi-monthly schedule.
Strategy has moved its STRC preferred shares to a twice-monthly dividend schedule, with the first payment under the new structure due on July 15, 2026, for shareholders of record on June 30. The company, formerly known as MicroStrategy, previously said stockholders approved the change on June 8. STRC, or Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock, currently carries an annualized dividend rate of roughly 11.5% to 12%, implying an inaugural semi-monthly payment of about $0.48 per share at the 11.5% rate and later payments of about $0.50 per share as the rate moves toward 12%. Strategy now says July 15, 2026 marks the ex-dividend date for the next payout, with the dividend scheduled for July 31 at about $0.50 per share based on a variable rate currently annualized at 12.00%. The update highlights the deadline for investors seeking to qualify for that semi-monthly distribution.
