HoodDomains launches .hood names on Robinhood Chain with ETH-based pricing

The protocol says its domains act as on-chain identities, x402 payment endpoints and AI agent handles, while its $HD token is tied to buy-and-burn mechanics and future revenue sharing.

Summary

HoodDomains has launched .hood domains on Robinhood Chain as permanent, self-custodied on-chain identities meant to replace long wallet addresses with human-readable names. The project says each .hood domain functions as more than a naming label, combining a trader profile, an embedded wallet, an x402 payment endpoint, AI agent identity and, eventually, a social handle across the ecosystem. The protocol describes every .hood domain as an on-chain NFT with fully on-chain SVG artwork, a structure meant to avoid reliance on off-chain hosting. HoodDomains says the name itself is the account through an embedded wallet model, and that users will be able to use domains for name-to-name communication, marketplace trading and future social features. The release also centers on AI agents, saying domains can identify agents operating under OpenClaw and Hermes and allow them to transact through x402 (HTTP-402 payment standard). Pricing is based on name length and paid in native ETH, starting at 0.012 ETH per year for names with four or more characters, with discounts of up to roughly 44% for multi-year registrations. HoodDomains says its native token, $HD, launched as a fair launch on Noxa Fun with no presale, single-sided Uniswap V3 liquidity and no buy or sell tax, with trading on the standard 1% Uniswap V3 fee tier. It adds that liquidity has been fully burned, creator fees are used to auto-buy and burn $HD, and future staking (locking tokens to earn rewards) is intended to distribute portions of protocol revenue from domain minting, marketplace activity, x402 payments, AI agent activity and x402 facilitator revenue.
