Futu Holdings has been hit with a securities class action in the U.S., with an investor filing the case in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. The lawsuit names Futu Holdings as well as founder Li Hua and the company’s CFO as defendants. The filing follows earlier lawsuits by market makers Susquehanna and Citadel Securities against Futu Holdings and Tiger Brokers over alleged options insider trading, extending the legal fallout around the matter.
