The tokenized product gives accredited and institutional investors in Singapore onchain exposure to a Japanese high-dividend equity strategy through regulated issuance infrastructure.
SBI Global Asset Management and DigiFT have launched the SBI Japan High Dividend Equity Strategy Token, or JX, on Solana, bringing a Japanese asset manager's listed-equity strategy onchain through regulated tokenization infrastructure for the first time. The product is available only to accredited and institutional investors under Singapore's Securities and Futures Act and provides onchain exposure to a growth-type Japanese securities investment trust managed by SBI Asset Management, without distributions at the fund or token level. DigiFT, which is regulated in Singapore and Hong Kong, has previously worked with UBS Asset Management, Invesco, BNY and Franklin Templeton, and said JX is its first product tied to Japan's domestic equity market and a Japanese institutional manager. The launch also extends SBI Holdings' broader push into blockchain-based market infrastructure following the creation of SBI Solana Global with the Solana Foundation and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group. Tokenized real-world assets grew to $21.9 billion globally in 2025 from $5.9 billion, while Solana handled $10 billion in tokenized stock trading volume in June 2026, representing 95% of onchain equity trading that month, according to RWA.xyz.
