The longtime Bitcoin critic repeated his bearish view as Bitcoin traded above $65,005 on July 15, while renewing his criticism of Strategy's roughly 840,000 BTC reserve.
Peter Schiff said Bitcoin holders could soon regret failing to sell above $60,000, reviving a long-running bearish call even as Bitcoin traded above $65,005 on July 15. Schiff said he regrets not buying Bitcoin earlier, but added there is "not a chance" he would buy now, even at $20,000. His warning came with Bitcoin roughly $5,000 above the level he cited, after the token recovered from a drop below $62,000 earlier in the week tied to renewed U.S.-Iran tensions. Schiff has also aimed criticism at Strategy's roughly 840,000 BTC treasury, arguing losses could grow after the company began selling coins under its monetization program and contending Bitcoin lacks earnings, yield or book value to support its valuation.
