The USDT-margined contract is designed to let traders take long or short positions tied to a market-based valuation of Neuralink before any IPO.
Gate has launched pre-market trading for NEURALINKUSDT perpetual futures, a USDT-margined perpetual futures contract that allows traders to take long or short positions with adjustable leverage from 1x to 10x when placing an order. The product is tied to a market-based valuation mechanism for Neuralink, the U.S. neurotechnology company founded in 2016 by Elon Musk and a team of neuroscientists and engineers and headquartered in Fremont, California. Neuralink has not officially gone public, and the contract is intended to support price discovery for its shares ahead of any IPO. The valuation unit is set in billions of U.S. dollars, meaning a $200 billion valuation would correspond to a Neuralink contract price of $200.
