Arthur Hayes bought 1,293 ETH worth about $2.48 million on July 15 and also received 646.33 ETH valued at about $1.24 million from Galaxy Digital, taking his single-day Ethereum purchases to roughly 1,939 ETH worth more than $3.7 million. Minutes before the transfer, he sent $1.25 million in USDC to FalconX in a transaction pattern that Onchain Lens flagged as a likely over-the-counter trade. Lookonchain later said five wallets believed to be linked to Hayes now hold a combined 4,353 ETH worth about $8.35 million, adding to signs he is continuing to build exposure to Ethereum. The buying reversed a late-June sale of 6,000 ETH at an estimated $606,000 loss and extended a pattern of aggressive crypto repositioning that has also included exits from Worldcoin, Zcash, NEAR and Hyperliquid, as well as a $2.2 million SYN purchase that later fell sharply.
