Twenty-five veteran- and military spouse-owned companies selected by Hire Heroes USA will receive $10,000 each, training and recruiting support aimed at expanding hiring from the military community.
Ripple has committed $250,000 to 25 veteran- and military spouse-owned businesses through The Ripple Effect: Certified Veteran Employer Grants Program, a joint initiative with Hire Heroes USA. Each company will receive a $10,000 grant, Certified Veteran Employer training and access to more than 20,000 military-connected candidates seeking civilian employment. Eligible applicants had to be at least 51% owned by a veteran or military spouse and show plans to hire from the military community within the next 12 to 18 months. Ripple said the program is designed to pair funding with workforce development, and future hiring, retention and business-growth data will be used to assess whether it produces measurable employment results. The initiative builds on Ripple's earlier $25 million RLUSD commitment to Hire Heroes USA and Accion Opportunity Fund, which the company said is expected to create 14,000 employment opportunities and support a fintech-focused career program.
